Indoor Drumline
The South County Indoor
Drumline was launched in 2005 under the instruction of Band Director
Alan P. Johnson with only 15 members. That year they competed in the AIA
Championships in Raleigh, NC, where they came in 3rd in their
class out of over 16 Drumlines. Since that first
year, they have advanced from Novice to Open Class and have amassed many
First-Place titles and trophies and now have over 40 members and 4
full-time clinicians. The past 2 years they
travelled to Dayton, Ohio for the WGI Percussion Championships where
they competed against Drumlines from all over the country.
